Methodist Church fete - 1975

Loughborough Monitor - 18th September 1975

Cousins Dora and Nicola Bowler make a cheerful Andy Pandy and Luby Loo in the fancy dress competition at Quorn Methodist Church fete on Saturday. Held in the paddock at the Limes, Leicester Road, the home of Mr and Mrs C Gamble, the fete was opened by Mr John Hilton, a member of Trinity Methodists, Loughborough. A fancy dress parade through the streets was led by Trinity Methodist Boys' Brigade Band and the fete included a variety of stalls and competitions. Proceeds, about £165, will go to church funds.

Note: The girls names were actually DEBRA and Nicola Bowler, ie not Dora.
