Quorn Floods

Apart from the Hunt, Quorn was well-known for its spectacular floods. Fortunately modern engineering has solved this dangerous inconvenience to a large extent. In this section you can view photographs of the village under water and read about the Great Flood of 1875 when a man lost his life in the grounds of White Horse.
