Postcard of The Little Green

This postcard shows Quorn Hunt on 'The Little Green' before the First World War. It must have been quite a spectacle judging by the number of onlookers. Almost all of the buildings in the picture have since been demolished, although Wright's factory on the left, still exists in the village today.

After the war, a war memorial was erected on the 'Little Green' and it became known as 'Memorial Gardens'.
