Christmas parcels for the Front - 1914

Loughborough Herald - 10th December 1914

On Tuesday evening the committee of the Conservative Club despatched 32 parcels to the Quorn men now on active service. Each parcel contained a Christmas cake, six mince pies, a tin of cocoa, condensed milk, chocolate, nuts, tobacco, etc. Any names and addresses of Quorn men on active service not yet sent to Mr W S Hack, the assistant secretary, should be forwarded at once.
