Sykes brothers meet on leave 1944

31st March 1944

The three sons of Mr and Mrs Leonard Sykes of Castledine Street, Quorn, who are also the grandsons of the late Mr William Ironman, of Quorn and later of Loughborough, recently met for the first time for some years, on leave.

They are (left to right): A B Maurice Sykes, Sergt. Percy Sykes RAF, who served in France until the Dunkirk evacuation, and Marine Victor Sykes.
