St Bartholomew's Football Team 1950 - 1951

Back row - Mr Gaylon (Head), Alfred (Pongo) Harvey, Terry Farley, Walter Turner (goalie), Ian Aitken, Brian (Juicy) Jollands, Albert Gatehouse, Mr Harry Cook (teacher).

Front row, left to right – Charlie (Chuck) Harvey, David 'Buzzy' Edwards, David Steans (captain), Alan Ball, Tony Sutton.

Alan Ball lived opposite Ian Aitken on Farnham Street. Tony Sutton was one of the footballing Sutton family who were prominent in Quorn football club at the time.

Brothers Alfred and Charles Harvey were evacuees from London.
