St Bartholomew's Football Team 1951 - 1952

Back row, left to right, Tony Brown, Richard Edwards, Michael Beaver (goalkeeper), David Brown, Ray Hardy. Richard Edwards was the brother of David 'Buzzy' Edwards shown on the other football team photos, the brothers lived on Orchard Estate. Ray Hardy and Ian Aitken lived next door but one to each other on Farnham Street.

Front row, left to right, Peter Boyer, Dereck Thompson (who lived opposite Stafford Orchard), Ian Aitken (holding the football), Michael Bonsor, David Hincks (whose parents ran one of the pubs the centre of the village.)
The teacher was Mr Gaylon who was very popular.
