Troops at The Curzon Arms - then and now

82nd Airborne paratroopers based in Quorn and British Wrens planning their itenery for the day. Photograph taken outside the Curzon Arms, Woodhouse Eaves in 1944.

Apart from the pub sign, very little has changed to date. The garage far right has gone and the trees have grown significantly. Cars now dominate the scene. Later photo taken in 2009.
