St Batholomew's church yard

Loughborough Monitor - 8th June 1973

Not a haymaking scene but a picture taken in St Batholomew's church yard, Quorn, when about 120 children from the village primary school spent the evening tidying up the yard. Philip Southwart (10) of Paddock Close (left), and Andrew Taylor (9) of Unitt Road, were among the children who were doing the work as a way of saying "thank you" to the villagers for the support they have given the Quorn St Batholomew's school fund.
