Postcard of Quorn Cross

This is Quorn Cross looking down Station Road towards what is now a bar/restaurant. It shows the Quorn Hunt standing outside North & Son, grocery store and Post Office.

It is a printed card (not a photograph), sent in 1904 and was printed in Luxembourg.

The card is addressed to Miss Kate Harly, c/o Mr S Shackleton, 11, Ellerton St, Bradford Moor, Bradford, Yorks. and reads:
To My Dear Katie, We are coming home by 7 o'clock train from Loughborough due in Bradford 10:50 at --- Station. We have had a splendid day here. With love from Auntie Hetty
