The Quorndon Co-operative Society. c1910

The shop was built on Station Road in 1862 on the site of the Blue Ball Inn. The society closed in July 1976 and Bradleys Mini Market took over the premises.

The gentleman on the left is likely to be John Henry Smithard, who is recorded on the 1911 census as the manager.
