Wesleyan Methodist Chapel Baptisms, Quorndon, 1838 to 1920

The Wesleyan Methodists in Quorn
In 1822 the Wesleyan Methodists built their first Chapel on High Street in Quorn. In 1907 they built a new much larger chapel in front of the old one, which has since been turned into flats.

A Unique Record!
The above baptism register is held in the Leicestershire Record Office and has been transcribed by Steven Bennett, a member of Quorn Local History Group. Prior to this (September 2022), it had not been available on any other family or local history website.
The information recorded is: baptism date, child's forename, sex, father's forename, mother's forename, surname(s), abode, child’s age or date of birth, notes.
