Quorn folk, Church Rooms, 1940s

Very little is known about this photograph of Quorn folk, taken outside the Church Rooms, probably in the 1940s.

Only a few names are known so far:
3. Frederick Ernest Marchant, 38 Barrow Road
13. Murray Rumsey
22. Frank Brown
26. Fanny Elizabeth Brewin (nee Sutton). She had been born in Quorn on 26th March 1882 and married Edward Brewin in July 1903. At the time of the photograph she was living at 25 Nursery Lane.
34. Agnes 'Polly' Brown, wife of no.22 Frank Brown. Lived on Wood Lane. Frank was gardener and Polly was housekeeper to the Wright family who owned Wrights Mill.

The picture was in the possession of Fanny Brewin’s granddaughter.
