William Rodger Johnstone 1902-1990, 15 Chaveney Road

William Johnstone, his wife Mary Ellen and their children lived in Quorn for a short time from 1913 to 1915. They had three children and their middle child, William Rodger Johnstone (known as Rodger), born in 1902, went to Rawlins Grammar School.

Rodger’s father was an electrical engineer and the family lived at Charnwood Cottage, now 15 Chaveney Road.
