Here are three children enjoying the sun, sitting next to the gate to the iron bridge near Santa Maria Lodge, on the corner of Soar Road and Meynell Road.

In 2009 the museum team asked if anyone could supply the names. After a Facebook post by Dennis Marchant in March 2026, Jennifer Warren confirmed that the the children are:

Left to right - Janet Warren, Eileen Harrald, Peter Clarke. Photo taken about 1941 (Janet and Peter were cousins). Eileen and Peter lived in Freehold Street and Janet lived in Victoria Street.

Eileen and Peter can be seen in the early 2000s in Artefact 2509!
