Quorn Rawlins Grammar School, Boer War Roll of Honour

There are three rolls of honour hanging in Rawlins school. The oldest of these (photograph below the names), relates to the Boer War.

The wording at the top says:
To commemorate the services rendered to their country during the Boer War of 1899 to 1902 by the undermentioned pupils of this school,
This tablet was erected by public subscription,

Trooper Cyril H Paulson, 2nd Brabant’s Horse. Died at Potchelstroom. November 28th 1900
Trooper Cyril C Backhouse, 65th Co Imperial Yeomanry.
Trooper J Noel D Paulson, Lord Dunraven’s Sharpshooters.
Trooper George GP Odams, 65th Co Imperial Yeomanry.
Bombardier Charles W O Mawby, 2nd Battery R. F. Artillery

Below the names is written: FACTA DISCIPULORUM HONORI SUNT SCOLAE
Can anyone translate this? The closest we have got is ‘The school honours the students’
