Quorn Camp, Wood Lane

Quorn Camp was situated off Wood Lane, on land belonging to Quorn House, which used to be owned by the Farnham family. During 1944 it was home to the 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the US 82nd Airborne Division, and later it became a POW camp. A shorter version of this article appeared in the Summer edition of The Quorndon magazine in 2018.
