Church Room fundraising fete, June 1929

In 1922 a committee was formed to raise funds for the building of a Church Room. Several years of hard work and fund raising followed before the Church Room was opened in the later part of 1929.

In June 1929 a fundraising fete was held at the Village Hall. The pdf version of the original programme is as interesting for the advertisements as for the rest of the content!
