Rawlins Hockey Team c1920

c1920 with headteacher Mr Keith Thomson.

Front row, third from left is Ethel Mary Flanders. Born 17 Feb 1904. She became a school teacher, and in her later life she ran a nursery school in the Church Hall at Birstall.

The pupil second on the right from the teacher is Muriel Olive Gamble (as she was then), b. 1908. She later became the mother of Ian Aitken
