Ann at Quorn’, High Street, Quorn

‘Ann at Quorn’ was a high class clothes shop at 20 High Street in Quorn. It was originally run by two ladies, Ann Brain and Ann Whittington, and latterly by Ann Whittington on her own. Today (2014), the premises are occupied by James Alvey, the hairdressers. This photograph was taken in the 1990s, which is not that long ago, but it shows how our streets change and how quickly we forget.

Has anyone got any memories of ‘Ann at Quorn’ that they could share with Quorn Village On-line Museum?
Can anyone help with more accurate dates for when ‘Ann at Quorn’ first opened? It closed in 1995 or 1996.
