Quorn Old Boys – Late 1980s/early 1990s

This is probably one of the most recent photographs that we have included in Quorn Village On-line Museum, but it is particularly interesting as it was taken at a gathering of ‘old boys’ from Quorn, an event took place each year, organised by Walter Turner. The ‘boys’ all knew each other as children in the village and met at the Bull’s Head (known as the Quorndon Fox in 2013).

The following can be identified. Can you help with any more names?

– Tony Sutton
- Ray Golding (originally thought to be John Stirling, but we are now almost certain is Ray Golding. can anyone confirm?). Also thought to be Johnny Brown from Freehold Street - more information required!
- Richard Gamble
- Dick (Richard) Kearl
- Steve Halford
- Adrian Wormley (? probably - or Tony Harris or Ray Hardy?)
- Ron Brown
- Keith Billyard (maybe?)
- Phil Bumpus
- Terry Hallam
- Stan Freeman
- Tony Berry
- Dennis Orton
– Stuart Turner
