Tom Shenton and family, about 1904

This is a picture of the Shenton family who lived at number 6 Barrow Road (Gordon Villas). The photograph was taken in about 1904.

Tom (the father), and the two elder children all worked at Wright’s factory. Bertie (the younger boy), sadly died in WW1 in 1916, aged just 19.
