Recollections of a Quorn childhood, 1947 to 1957 - by Bron Worsnip

Bron Worsnip’s father was the Revd Leslie Worsnip, minister of the Baptist Church in Quorn from 1947 to 1957. Bron was 6 years old when the family arrived in Quorn, so he spent the most important years of his childhood growing up here. The attached PDF document contains recollections from that childhood, including school memories, scouts, friends, village events and more. These are illustrated with photographs.

Thank you to Bron for writing down his recollections of Quorn. Have you thought about writing down your Quorn memories? - or perhaps even those of your grandparents?
