Quorn Methodist Sunday School

Loughborough Echo December 1960

Quorn Methodist Sunday School, under Mr. C. Callaghan, did exceptionally well in the recent Loughborough and District Sunday School Union Scripture examination, 17 of the 19 entries receiving awards.

Rosemary Griffiths and Joy Jollands received honours awards with 90 per cent and 85 per cent respectively, and other successful entries were: First class: Helen McCaig (84), Gillian Griffiths (84), Rosemary Callaghan (83), David Callaghan (78), Audrey Jollands (77), Pauline Axten (74), Mary Cockerell (70), Keith Perry (67), Brenda Shuttlewood (67), Second class: Brenda Jollands (58), Raymond Bonshor (55), Geoffrey Bowler (54). Third class: Melvyn Waumsley (46), Linda Bonshor (42), Graham Waumsley (42).
