Two Crescent factory - 1959

The factory, owned by George Farnham was opened in 1952 with seven employees and made children's socks. By 1959 the employee count had risen to twenty and the firm had expanded to produce ladies fashion and exported goods to many countries.

The photograph shows two of the women who worked at the Two Crescent Hosiery Company. Mrs Phyllis Warner and Mrs Ivy Hall.
