Meeting Street in the snow in 1961

This view down Meeting Street was taken from Quorn Cross end, with the former forge on the left. The large gable end on the right is that of number 27 Meeting Street, and between there and the next house, running at 90 degrees to the road, was Alma Terrace.

Next to the cottage on the far right (now 7 Meeting Street), there is a road sign warning you to halt at the major road ahead - which at that time was the main A6.
