Quorn Saint Bartholomews Primary School football team, 1965/66
Quorn St Bartholomews Primary School football team which won the area football cup competition for local primary schools in 1966. This was called The Thornton Trophy. The achievement must have been just a couple of months before England won the Football World Cup.
The team beat Sileby Primary School in the final on Stafford Orchard, Quorn. Bob Holland who contributed this information, can't remember the score exactly, thinks it could have been 2-1 or 3-1. Can anyone else remember?
