Quorn House - the oak bedroom 1956

Taken from an article in The Leicester Graphic dated February 1956:

Appropriately named because of the half panelled walls and carved oak over-mantle to the fireplace. This is a bright cheerful room with three long windows overlooking the lawns through which the sunlight pours onto the gleaming white paint. The decorations are in a delicately patterned pale blue, with a daffodil yellow ceiling reflecting the sun. The bedspreads and carpet are in a matching shade of blue.
