Wright's children's party - 1972
Loughborough Echo - 14th January 1972
About 40 children had a grand time in the works canteen of Messrs M Wright & Sons Ltd., of Quorn Mills, Quorn, on the occasion of their New Year party. This was organised by Mrs M Lane, assisted by Miss L Bettany, Mrs D Bignall, Mrs D Lidierth, Mrs O Brewin, Mr T Buckingham, Mr J Hicks and Mr D Williams and the afternoon was spent playing games and having tea. The presents were presented by Mr Michael Wright, a director of the firm. The canteen was decorated by Mr K Ward, Mr O Hall, Mr T Jollands and Mr P Long.
