St Bartholomew's Primary School Orchestra, 1962

This is a photograph of St Bartholomew's Junior School Orchestra in 1962. The music teacher who ran it was Mr Weavell. It seems amazing to us today that a junior school could have every child playing an instrument and run an orchestra of this size.
