The hunt is on for Rufus the pet fox - 1975

Loughborough Monitor - 24th January 1975

Rufus, the hand reared pet fox of Mrs Lesley Herbert, of Quorn, has gone missing without trace. The fox disappeared from its kennel in the garden of 7 White Street, Quorn, between 9pm and a quarter to 10 last Thursday.

Mrs Herbert who also has three dogs and three ducks, reared Rufus from a five-week old cub and is worried that someone may have stolen him or that he has been trapped and killed.
