Barrow Road, Kirbell Cottages – then and now

This is the bottom, right-hand side of Barrow Road looking from Quorn towards Barrow. The row of cottages on the right of the picture are Kirbell Cottages, now numbers 47 to 53.

The newly built cottages looked pristine when the older photograph was taken, and would have been very desirable places to live in the early 1900s.
