Quorn soldier killed - 1944

Loughborough Herald - 17th November 1944

Mrs Mary Halford, of Church Path, Quorn, has received official notice of the death of her husband, Pte Cyril Halford, killed in action in November in North-West Europe. Before joining the Army he worked at the Brush EE Co, Loughborough. He was 37 and he leaves a child 15 months old.
