Rawlins fete - July 1964

This picture of Rawlins fete in 1964, sat on the museum site for two years, without any information about the identities of the girls.

In January 2013 Ann Malin (as was) got in touch, as did Rosemary Series (nee Martin) in May 2014. Both kindly provided some names.

In February 2015 Elizabeth Moreton (now Mulliner), wrote to the museum team and not only came up with more names, but said:
"We were trying to persuade the fete goers to purchase small posies of flowers from us! We provided the flowers and made up the bunches ourselves,I raided my parents large garden for my flowers. We were all keen first year pupils! I have many happy memories of Rawlins Grammar School."

Left to Right: Cheryl Price, Elizabeth Moreton, Marilyn Spurr, Susan Birch
