Death of Mrs Foord-Kelcey - 1914

Loughborough Herald - 12th February 1914

The Late Mrs Kelcey
A memorial service was held in the Parish Church on Tuesday afternoon at the time of the interment of Mrs Foord Kelcey, wife of the Rev Foord Kelcey, Vicar of Great Kimble, Cambridgeshire, who was for 17 years Vicar of Quorn. The deceased lady passed away last Tuesday after a long illness. During her residence in Quorn she was much esteemed and respected by all classes, and many of the residents of the village will hear with deep regret of her death.

A wreath was subscribed for by several members of the church, who were desirous of expressing their sympathy with Mr E Foord Kelcey in his sad bereavement. In the evening the bells of the village church rang a muffled peal.
