Brawl ends in court appearance - 1870

Derby Mercury - 5th January 1870

Petty Session, Dec 28. Before Col G H Packe, J B Story, and G E Paget, Esqrs.

Timothy Baum, gamekeeper, Alfred Greasley, labourer, Fred. Fouls, bricklayer, and John Mitchell, sawyer, were charged with assaulting William L Rumsby, at Quorndon on Dec 14th, and the case being proved, Baum and Greasley were fined 10s and costs. The other two were discharged.
