Heavy flooding in the Loughborough District - 1960

Loughborough Echo - 9th December 1960

At Quorn on Saturday night a double-decker bus was involved in a collision with a car which had run into flood waters. Passengers in another bus had the unusual experience of seeing water come through the floorboards beneath their feet.
