Boating on the river Soar

This photograph was taken in about 1961. The girl in the boat is Linda Dakin, who lived in Freehold street. The boy is Terry Matley from Sileby. The photo is lodged in the Leicester record office and the team are very grateful to Linda's sister June for providing the dates and names to what would otherwise be an anonymous picture.
