Hot cross bun - the oldest in Quorn?

Loughborough Echo - 12th April 1968

When Mrs Elsie Pittam, of 22 Barrow-road, Quorn, was only three weeks old she was given a hot cross bun by the late Mr T Webster, a Quorn baker. Mrs Pittam is now 70 years of age and she still has the bun! It is rather hard nowadays but otherwise still in its original form without a trace of mould.
