Private S Davis - 1915

Loughborough Herald - 6th May 1915

Information had been received in Quorn that Private S Davis, of the Canadian Contingent, a native of this village, has been wounded in action. Private Davis left the village for Canada some three or four years ago, and on the outbreak of hostilities volunteered for service with the contingent from the Dominion. He is a son of the late Private J Davis, who was killed in the late South African War.
