Death of a Quorn resident - George Gartshore 1917

Death of an old resident

The death has occurred of Mr George Gartshore, at the advanced age of 87. Coming to this village some 57 years ago as farrier to the Earl of Stamford, he had been in the service of the Quorn Hunt for more than 40 years and was highly respected. He is survived by his wife.
