William Ironman, licensed victualler, Quorn, was also summoned for an offence under the Lighting Regulations on September 11th. PC Thornton stated that a very bright light was proceeding from a window of the Bull's Head. Defendant closed the window immediately his attention was drawn to it. Defendant said that it was Wake Monday night, and there were a lot of people in the room. Someone opened the ventilator too wide to allow the smoke to clear from the room.
Fined 10s or five days.
