The chair was taken by Mr E W Parkinson of Sileby, supported by Mr Smith, of Sileby, and Mr Goodman and Mr Holland, of Mountsorrel.

After hearing details of the Legion organisations, it was decided to form a branch at Quorn and the following were appointed: Mr H Facer (chairman), Mr W S Green (treasurer), Mr A Thornton (secretary), Messrs A Pell, S Freeman, S Towle, G C White, A Fewkes, C Camp, W Price, J Caunt, W Wesley and F Bunney (committee).

The first meeting of the new Quorn branch will be at the Institute in January, when all ex-Service men are invited to attend.
