Drunken children
Loughborough Advertiser - May 2nd 1872
John Forth, Joseph Sharpe, William Paget and George Earl, four youths, most of whom were mere boys, were charged by PC Poulteney with being helplessly drunk and creating a disturbance at Quorndon on Sunday March 31st, to which they all pleaded guilty and were ordered to pay 5s each and costs, or go to prison for 14 days.
