Quorn Fields Farm (Quorn Lodge Farm)

Quorn Fields Farm (also known as Lodge Farm) is situated down a long lane which is a small exit/entrance off the One Ash roundabout to the north of Quorn. Not to be confused with the present Quorn Fields Farm which is found at the very end of Flesh Hovel Lane. The farmhouse was erected after the Enclosure awards in the later eighteenth century (after 1763). The ground floor windows were Victorian additions. John Moss and his wife outside their house in 1899.

Another version of this photo exists containing the typed text:
"When Percy Moss was old enough to manage the High Street Butchering business, John Moss commenced farming at Quorn Fields to which he removed in about 1885. The above photograph of John Moss and his Wife was taken about 1898, at Quorn Fields."
