Quorn St Bart’s Primary School football shirt, 1960s
This football shirt belonged to Christian Pyne in the 1960s who played in the school team when the primary school was on School Lane and used Stafford Orchard as their playing fields. This style of shirt was in use from the fairly early 1950s until at least the late 1960s.
The Pyne family lived at 98 Barrow Road and Christian’s mum Anne kept the shirt carefully for over 50 years.
