Petty Sessions
Richard Bonser, baker, Wm Wykes, hosiery hand, and Sidney Rue, labourer, all of Quorn, were charged with gaming with cards at Quorn on Sunday the 13th inst. Wykes and Rue pleaded guilty but Bonser did not appear. On the evidence of PC Grant the defendants were fined 10s each, the Chairman admonishing the youth for breaking the Sabbath day.
