Floods in Quorn, 1961

Before flood prevention measures, Quorn used to flood to a greater or lesser extent every few years. 1961 was one such year.

The first two photographs were taken on Soar Road and the third one was taken from Stafford Orchard, looking over the car park towards Wright's Factory and Station Road.
