Richard Pulteney - 1730-1801

Richard Pulteney was a physician and botanist after whom Poultney Brook and Poultney Drive in Quorn were named. He was born in Loughborough and educated at Loughborough Grammar School. In 1764 he moved to Blandford in Dorset, where he died in 1801.
