Advertisement for The Hurst garage - 1966
The garage stood next to the Hurst hotel, now the Chinese Chequers restaurant. It was a favourite stop for Rawlins students to buy sweets from. The garage was knocked down in the 1990s to make way for the row of town houses now standing there.
